TRAINING BLOCKS
Block 1: Power and Strength Foundations
Focus: Build a solid base of strength.
Details: This introductory phase lays the groundwork for the intensity to come. You’ll engage in foundational strength training exercises designed to prepare your body for more demanding workouts. Emphasis is on proper form and gradually increasing intensity to ensure a robust and injury-resistant base.
Block 2: Max Strength Phase
Focus: Achieve your heaviest one-repetition maximums (1RMs).
Details: This phase is dedicated to pushing your strength limits. You’ll engage in high-intensity, heavy lifting to break personal records. This block focuses on periodized strength training, complemented by tailored nutrition and recovery strategies to maximize gains and enhance overall performance.
Block 3: Strength/Speed Phase
Focus: Develop explosive power while retaining strength.
Details: Transition from pure strength to explosive power with contrast training techniques. This phase blends strength maintenance with speed development, using exercises that build both power and agility. The goal is to convert strength gains into dynamic, high-speed performance.
Block 4: Peak Phase
Focus: Optimize speed and strength for peak performance.
Details: Engage in high-intensity, sport-specific drills to sharpen your skills and enhance overall game readiness. This final block is designed to refine your speed and strength, ensuring you perform at your highest level during competitions or critical performance moments.
