our story

why we started sw7 academy

SW7 Academy was created by former 2x British & Irish Lions Captain Sam Warburton and Josh Davies in 2019.

They created the academy with a focus providing S&C programmes for amateur rugby players. Only professionals or international players had access to world class strength and conditioning and they wanted to make it accessible for the masses.

Over the years the academy has diversified and now provides a wide range of programmes, suitable for people of all ages and ability levels.

Sam was a professional player for 10+ years and worked with some of the best coaches in the world. The knowledge he acquired in that time is embedded in SW7 Academy’s programmes, to help other players and individuals develop to the best of their ability.

Whether you’re a budding rugby player, someone that wants to lose body fat or someone that wants to put on muscle mass, the academy has a solution for you.
